Owned and operated by the Voorhees Family, HillHouse has been serving families like yours since 1961.
Aging in Place HillHouse is a 56-room assisted living facility on a twenty acre wooded parcel overlooking beautiful Whiskeag Pond in Bath, Maine. We offer long-term care and welcome short and long-term respite stays.
We specialize in aging-in-place care: compassionate and personalized assistance throughout the aging process.
More Like Family The atmosphere at HillHouse is less like a facility, more like a family. Our facility is a combination of new construction and a renovated 19th-century homestead. We offer private rooms with kitchenettes along with semi-private rooms. Our sunlit dining room overlooks the Whiskeag Pond, and we serve home-style meals using fresh and natural ingredients.
What sets HillHouse apart from other elder care facilities? Our small size allows us to cater care to each individual resident. Visitors are always welcome to dine with residents, free of charge, and pets are welcome.
Words couldn't express how appreciative I am for the care, concern, friendship, and respect shown my mother while she was a resident at HillHouse. We both agreed that it was a perfect place for her to live—thanks to your professional, kind, and understanding staff. - Fran S.
